When you buy Girl Guide Biscuits you are getting delicious biscuits to eat plus you are also supporting Girl Guides South Australia!

Girl Guides South Australia offers girls and young women a way to try new experiences and activities in a non-competitive and safe environment.

The annual Girl Guide Biscuit campaign is between May and June and is Girl Guides South Australia’s biggest fundraiser. The funds raised will be used to advance programs, provide exciting opportunities for our members and help keep Guiding affordable for all South Australian families right across the state.

The history of the Guide Biscuit

Girl Guides have been selling Biscuits in Australia for nearly 60 years to raise proceeds to support local, national and international Guiding activities and programs.

The original biscuit recipe was created in 1955 by biscuit manufacturer Cadbury Schweppes Hudson and in 1975 Griffins took up the much loved recipe.

From 2016 the legacy of the Guide Biscuit has been passed to Modern Baking Company an Australian Company based in Victoria who specialise in sourcing Australian ingredients, are RSPO certified and produce our biscuits free from colours, preservatives and artificial flavours. Our Girl Guide biscuits are produced in a factory that is free from peanuts and sesame.
