Just a 2 hour drive from Adelaide, this is perfect accommodation for school camps and private groups! Only a 5 minute walk from beautiful Port Vincent Beach.
Located on the Yorke Peninsula this accommodation provides a beautiful secluded setting for schools, family, retreat, friendship and community groups in the township of Port Vincent.
For schools interested in providing aquatics education we are the perfect location to accommodate you. We work closely in partnership with Department of Education Aquatics Activities. As part of our service to schools, Girl Guides SA can organise your catering upon request.
Tuckerway includes large indoor bunk style accommodation (with an ability to make up double bed rooms), a fully equipped kitchen, washing facilities including washing machine and dryer, showers and bathroom facilities including an accessible bathroom.
Located in the historic town of Port Vincent, it is an ideal spot for a getaway, for school camps and holiday retreats.
For private retreats & bookings, we offer spacious indoor and outdoor spaces for a weekend getaway to suit any sort of group wanting to explore the Yorke Peninsula or relax in quiet surroundings. Some of our guests have included Yoga Studios who wish to provide inexpensive relaxing retreats for their members, and private family and friendship groups.

Tuckerway is a Girl Guides South Australia accommodation and camping property located on the main road into Port Vincent when travelling from Adelaide.
Great accommodation consisting of a 10 bed dormitory and a 15 bed dormitory. Accommodation for an extra 21 beds is available in an adjacent recreation room, plus 4 queen bedrooms with a total guest availability of 53 people.
Each main dormitory is serviced with two showers and toilets within the main building. The recreation room is serviced with two showers and three toilets accessible from outside.
The large dining room/common room can seat up to 60 people and has a gas fire and TV/DVD. The outside dormitory houses a full size table tennis table for use.
The kitchen is modern with stainless steel benches, double sink, gas/electric stoves, refrigeration and electrical appliances. Crockery and cutlery is available.
A catering service can be provided if required at a cost of $45.00 per day.
There is a small twin tub washing machine and clothes dryer available.
We have on site activities specific to Outdoor Education and Team Building including Nature Trails and rugged costal exploration.

- The Zanoni Shipwreck, permits for diving on the wreck can be obtained from the Maritime Heritage Branch of the Department for Environment and Heritage.
